A WOMAN was mugged as she walked to Tesco with her children this weekend.
The 32-year-old was with her young daughters on the 'black path' in Accrington when the thief approached her at around 11.10am on Sunday.

He snatched a handbag from her shoulder and fled from the secluded path, which runs parallel to Blackburn Road and the railway.
Insp John Fryer said: "The two young girls were very upset. This is not a pleasant thing to happen in broad daylight when you are walking to the shop."
The bag was described as beige, bearing the slogan, 'I <3 Edinburgh'.
Inside it was a pink iPhone 5C, a bank card, and around £14 in cash.
The only description of the man immediately available was that he is white and in his early to mid-20s, Insp Fryer added.
Call police on 101 with any information.
