Darwen resident sets fire to home after putting deep fat fryer on gas hob
A DARWEN resident set fire to their home after leaving their gas hob on and placing their deep fat fryer on top of it.
Firefighters called to Moor Close at 5.35pm on Monday said the occupant “did the right thing” by turning the hob off, isolating the electrics, and leaving the building.
