A 20-YEAR-OLD man broke his neck and four others were injured following a road collision in Blackburn.
Police said a blue Volkswagen Golf was travelling towards a roundabout on Barbara Castle Way near the junction with Quarry Street and Eanam when the incident happened.

As the car entered the roundabout it left the road and crashed through a fence and hit a wall before coming to rest at the bottom of a grass verge.
Three men in their early 20s and a 16-year-old male suffered minor injures and were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital, while the fifth man who broke his neck was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
Police have launched an appeal following the incident which happened at 8pm on Friday and would like to speak to the driver of a white vehicle seen in the area.
PC Dave Todhunter said: “We are appealing for witnesses, including anyone who may have seen the VW Golf prior to the collision.
“We are interested in hearing from the driver of a white vehicle that may have been on the roundabout at the time of the collision.”
