POLICE are appealing for information after a 16-year-old girl fell off the back of a motorbike on the A59.
The youngster, a passenger on the back of a green Kawasaki motorbike travelling from Clitheroe to Preston, came off the vehicle and landed on the opposite side of the road.

She was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with suspected broken bones after the incident at around 12.45pm yesterday.
Her injuries are less serious than first thought.
Officers are still trying to piece together what could have caused the girl to come off the bike and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Sgt Claire Pearson from the Road Policing Unit said: “The girl was extremely lucky to have escaped from this with just cuts to her abdomen as it could have been much more serious.
“We need anyone who may have seen something to get in touch as they could have seen something that could assist with our investigation.”
The road was closed to facilitate an investigation but was reopened two hours later.
