A SOCIAL worker is calling for Lancashire Telegraph readers’ help to be in with a chance of appearing on a ‘life-changing’ reality TV show.

Natalie Farnworth, from Darwen, has made it through to the last 50 applicants to appear on a new show called ‘The Perfect World Project’.

The programme will see 10 people transported to a luxurious villa to compete against each other to win a ‘Perfect World Black Card’, loaded with a six-figure sum to spend.

The winner will be filmed for the next few months to see what they will buy and whether it will make them happier.

Millionaire businessman Russ Priestly created the show and the broadcaster has been kept secret until filming starts next year.

The 25-year-old needs enough votes to be within the top 20 applicants to get into the final round.

The former St Mary’s College student said she didn’t think she had a chance of getting close to the final when she applied.

She said: “It’s fantastic to think I have come so far and I have a good chance of getting to the last 20 and even on the show.

“I’m nervous but I am also very excited to think that I have a strong chance of appearing on this life changing show.

“My job is extremely difficult at times and I have to put it before myself quite often.

“It would be amazing to win the money and then be able to travel and visit all the amazing places in the world.

“I would love to be able to give something to the youth centres in Blackburn.

“It would be wonderful to start up my own project with the money and make a difference to other people’s lives by spending the money in a useful way.

“My family and friends have been so supportive with this and I would everyone to vote for me and make this incredible once-in-a-life-time opportunity come true.”

The contestants will spend three months together and the winner will then be followed for nine months.

A show spokesman said: “There are 60million people in the UK and 37million working – however, all would like their Perfect Life.”
