A brand new Wacky Warehouse soft play area will be opening at an East Lancashire pub later this year.

The Old Cobblers Inn, in New Hall Hey Road, Rawtenstall, is set to expand its family offering by gaining the new soft play area in late August.

As part of the investment, the Old Cobblers team has also expanded, with a number of new staff members joining the site ahead of the Wacky Warehouse opening next month.

More details about the Greene King pub’s Wacky Warehouse will be revealed closer to the time.

Debra Zajac, general manager of the Old Cobblers Inn, said: “The team are hugely excited to be opening a Wacky Warehouse next month.

“We pride ourselves on being a family friendly pub and we know the benefit a full Wacky Warehouse will add to our site, providing families with many new and exciting experiences during their visit.

“Thanks to the investment, we’ve also been able to grow our team substantially, gaining 15 new members of staff to service both in the main pub and the Wacky Warehouse.”

Wacky Warehouse is said to be home to “the slidiest slides, the most colourful crafts and the wackiest kids around”.

As well as a fun day out, Wacky Warehouse has been hosting children’s parties since 1994.

Adults always go free, as do babies under 12 months.

Regulars can opt for a Wacky Club Card, where you can get good value entry fees and a discount on food.
