A lane has been closed on a busy Lancashire A-road after smoke was spotted coming from a vehicle.
Police have warned motorists of a closure on the A56 southbound close to Huncoat.
Lane two is still running, however motorists have been warned of “slow moving traffic” and should expect long delays.

Lane 1 of the A56 southbound carriageway is currently closed from Huncoat due to smoke coming from a vehicle. Lane 2 is running however is slow moving traffic and expected delays
