Crews were called to battle a fire after gas cylinders exploded in a shed in Rishton in the early hours.
At around 2.40am today (June 15), two fire engines from Hyndburn and Great Harwood stations were called following reports of an incident on Cliff Street, Rishton.
The fire involved a shed containing multiple LPG cylinders.
Fire crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze. They were at the scene for around one hour.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Two fire engines from Hyndburn and Great Harwood fire stations were called to reports of an incident on Cliff Street, Rishton.
“On arrival, firefighters discovered a fire involving a shed containing multiple LPG cylinders and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Fire crews were in attendance for approximately 60 minutes.”
