A house in Burnley has gone viral on social media, thanks to one quirky room in particular, and it’s said to be the perfect place for Barbie-lovers.
The ‘pink house’, on Coal Clough Lane, has a pink exterior, front door and pink furnishings throughout. The kitchen is the most 'talked about' room of the house as it is is fitted with pink furnishings, shelves and cupboards.
Speaking about the kitchen Fardella and Bell Estate Agents director, Aimee Bell, said it was “the best thing she has seen”.
In a TikTok video, which at the time of writing has amassed 902,000 views, she said: “This is absolutely the best thing I have seen. How amazing is this. It is a handmade Michael James kitchen.
“This home has been renovated to an unbelievable standard”
Aimee said “everyone [seems to] want the Barbie house” after the post went viral on social media.
She said: “The TikTok video went mental. Everyone wants ‘the Barbie house’, or the ‘pink house’, whatever you would like to call it. It has received a lot of attention which is great.
“It is a really unusual house and it won’t appeal to everyone – but it is certainly one that stands out.
“It is a mid-terraced property, with three bedrooms, which has been completely renovated.
“It has solar panels with insulation, so it is very energy efficient.
“Its handmade kitchen is quite impressive.
“It would be ideal for the next buyer as nothing else needs to be renovated or changed. You could move straight into it.
“It’s also ideal for Barbie-lovers due to the pink fittings – but they will have to ask their ‘Kens’ if they are happy to have a pink kitchen.
“If you want to view it you better be quick as we are back-to-back with viewings.”

After posting the property, which is on the market for £150,000, to social media many have described it as “Barbie’s house”.
One person said: “Was this Barbie’s house?”
Another said: "Current owners, Barbie and Ken, are proud to present [this property] to the market.”
A third commenter said: “The pink isn’t for me but it’s tasteful. Someone will love this property.”
“I'm from Burnley and whoever gets this house, I will forever be jealous of,” another said.
