As a Christian, I believe that Lent is a time of reflection of not just the meaning of Lent, but your faith in Christ.

If you attend church but haven’t let Christ into your life, now is the time. If you prey often or not very often and don’t attend church, now could be the time to turn to Christ and start to attend church. Or if you turned away from Christ, now could be the time to turn back to Christ and renew your faith in him.

Most people associate Lent with giving up something. Chocolates, sweets, all the common things to give up.

Instead of giving up something, do something or take something up. It could be something such as a hobby or giving time up to help others, such as charity organisations or the local church in your area or to help others keep a holy Lent.
