I have recently been introducing my children the old school movies I watched as a young lad such as Willow, The Witches and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
Even though these films look dated now with the special effects which are used in today's movies they still never fail to entertain all ages.
Nostalgia is fun as it brings out the child in all of us and makes us realise how brilliant our childhood was.
I have 2 recommendations for movies for you to watch over the next few days or the coming weekend.
Firstly its Shane Meadows' excellent 'Dead Man's Shoes' starring Paddy Considine as a brother out for revenge after a brutal attack by the local gangsters on his disabled brother. It's a fantastic film.
Secondly, one I mentioned earlier, the classic fantasy film 'Willow' directed by Ron Howard and starring Val Kilmer as Madmartigan, an unlikely hero in a fantastic adventure film that is dated by special effects but loved by many.
I'd love to hear from anyone that watches these movies to hear what you all think.
