STUART Gall and Michael Beardmore picked the perfect moment to move up through the gears as they won the Allspeeds Doubles competition at the weekend.
Gall and Beardmore were in fine form in the final as they raced to a 21-10 victory over Vincent O’Donnell and Peter Hawkes 21-10.
The winning pair spluttered in the opening round, edging past Colin Crompton and Barbara Horman in the last eight, eventually winning 21-20 before breezing past Peter Wellman and Gary Evans, 21-11, in the semi final.
