ACCRINGTON Stanley have signed Middlesbrough defender Bradley Halliday on a one-month emergency loan deal.

The full-back made over 20 appearances in a loan spell at League Two York City last season and has just returned from a loan spell with Hartlepool United which saw him feature six times.

Stanley boss John Coleman has been on the lookout for defensive cover to boost numbers and Halliday goes straight into the squad for tonight's game with AFC Wimbledon at the Wham Stadium.
