BLACKBURN Rovers are supporters are invited to attend an open floor meeting to discuss the future of the club.

The meeting is being promoted by the BRFC Action Group in conjunction with the Rovers Trust, the club’s official supporters’ trust, and the Ewood Blues, and is backed by other fan organisations.

Taking place on Thursday at Blakeys Cafe Bar at King George’s Hall, Blackburn, the meeting starts at 7pm and is open to all supporters.

It comes on the back of the Rovers Trust calling for the club’s owners Venky’s to sell up and the BRFC Action Group asking for the club’s board of directors to resign.

Rovers are currently bottom of the Championship and have so far this season attracted their lowest league crowd for 25 years and their lowest crowd for a league, FA Cup or League Cup match for 30 years.

Rovers trust Wayne Wild said:"We call on as many Rovers fans as possible to attend.

"The aim being to discuss options available to members and general Rovers supporters to agree some meaningful actions to help stop the continual slide of the future of the club."
